Marlo and Greg Breeze
of Lakeland Florida
~ Opening Words ~

“Happy Valentines Day! I can’t think of a more romantic day for your wedding than this, the
one day of the year reserved for lovers. There was a very famous movie called “An Affair To
Remember” that called this place “the nearest thing to Heaven we have in New York” It is an
honor, and our pleasure to have you here today.

It was a little less than a year ago that the two of you stood on the observation deck shivering
in the cold and admiring the view… It was a moment that turned out to be the fulfillment of
Marlo’s childhood fantasy, when Greg asked her to marry him. It was also the day that she
made him the happiest man in the world, for it was the day that the love of his life agreed to
become his wife. Although Marlo said in her letter that “The rest, shall we say, is history.” I
prefer to call it “history in the making” The engagement ring speaks of potential, and today we
are honored to have you here and to be with you as you begin the journey of realizing all the
hopes and dreams of a lifetime shared.

Addressing the couple

The two of you have a love that is built on the firmest of all foundations, it is based on
friendship. Growing from there the sky is truly the limit and the view…. It will be no less
spectacular that the one that took your breath away the first time that you shared it together.”

~ The Hand Ceremony ~

“Will you now each extend one hand, face up to one another, and use the other below to cradle
and support your beloved’s outstretched hand?

Bride and Groom offer their right hand to one another and embrace from below with their left

These are the hands that reach out to you, and to your heart before all others. These are the
hands that will support and cradle you, encourage and heal you through all of the best and most
difficult times that life will bring. See the lines that show the lessons learned which have made
this person the one person in the world for you. These hands are young and smooth, vibrant
and strong, filled with hopes and dreams, eagerly anticipating the life is before you. Know that
as the years pass and these lines deepen, they will all reflect the roads that you have traveled
together.”
